I can remember
some ten years or so ago
someone who was here
God I loved her so
Her smiling eyes
Her gentle voice
The feeling from her
that gave me no choice
I fell and lost my heart
knowing I was being foolish
right from the start
But I was young
and so was she

We drifted in and out

for three years or so
