Good Movies - As of Late?

What are some good movies that you have seen lately? Not necessarily in the theather but like on DVD or HBO/Showtime/Cinemax?

I watched Vantage Point w/Dennis Quaid last night. Great flick, def have to check it out. :thumbup:thumbup

I saw one called Breakfast on Pluto the other day

About an Irish transvestite who travels to London in search of his mother and gets arrested by the police under suspicion of terrorism. It was pretty funny in places.

the valley of Elah....i recommend everyone seeing that... it was fantastic! I watched it last night.

Is it a "feel good" movie or one of those "conspiracy" bullshit movies where the little guy uncovers the government conspiracy? (because that's what it seemed like from the trailer) I just can't take another anymore government conspiracies after reading Minor's threads!!!

Because in the X-files they went around busting columbian drug lords and arms shipments :24:

Its not a feel good movie...and its not a conspiracy crap movie either...its about post traumatic syndrome in our Soldiers when they come back from war....its really an eye opener and a based on a true story... excellent actors in it. You'd probably:thumbup enjoy it Mulder.:nod:

Mulder's namesake spent all these years with Scully and never got laid once in the show!! Hahaha, he epic fails.

The problem with these government conspiracy movies is too many moore-ons believe they are watching actual events that have been dramatized!

Both chick flicks no doubt well kinda, but both very solid performances by all the actors involved.

I watched Sideways not long ago, based on the book. Good film

two great actors in it as well, Thomas Hayden Church and Paul Giamatti (sp?)

I went and saw "Mirrors" Last night and.....OMG it was like watching exorcist the original times two plus on steroids. I was terrified really good! Scariest and well thought out plot for a horror pic that I have ever seen!
