Morning everybody!
Afternoon everyone!Freespeech's computer was playing up last night and she might not be able to get it sorted till Sunday so she just wanted me to let you know why she might not be on much this weekend.

Yeah, for those that didn't see my post in PW thread, I couldn't post - could pm but that was it. Found out I did something in my options, but I actually manged to sort it out in end, hence being here after all!!!
Yeah, except I went and missed the whole thing huh? Mind you, I got to chat with Peter. We can party next week though if ya like

Hiya Freeby, so good to see you. Yeah, good ole Pete passed on the message and we understood then why you were M.I.A. This weekend was a bumper one for me. Partaayed like there was no tomorrow. Was good for the time but alas, it's good to be grounded once again.
It's kind of funny how you couldn't post at the time. I could imagine you frantically scratching your head in bewilderment wondering WTF. On Friday night a similar thing happened to me. Lucky thing it was late, prolly 'round 11.30 PM I think. Was just about getting ready to leave a message or something and all of a sudden I realised my mouse curser had frozen and I couldn't do jack shit. Tried all kinds of things...force restart a couple times...stared at the monitor to will it back to life...give it some bad eye...and of course muttered some choice expletives (all aimed at the computer). No dice...zip...nada. The computer not taking me on.
It was only the following morning, notwithstanding a hangover but nothing a strong black cuppa coffee couldn't fix, the great revelation appeared. Something tell me look at the back of the monitor where the USB cable for the mouse is supposed to be and lo and behold there was none. It had slipped out in all the merriment.:24: Well I slipped it back in nice and snug and voila....I was back in biz. I had a good laugh about it no doubt.
Well Freeby, in as much as I knew you were looking forward to partaying wine in hand, I had a few drinks in your honor. Couple of us made the best of it. You were missed but hey, not to worry...we will make up for it next week. Don't go messing with the options tho.

He is a gooden that Peter, bless him. How the hell he put up with chatting to me all those hours, I do not know.
Blimey, scratching my hair out - even though it was about 4.45 in the morning when he and I finished chatting, I really wanted to post - scratching my head was not doing it for me, I was pulling my hair out and banging my head against the wall in a sheer frantic state cos I couldn't get to see or place posts on here.
Then of course, Saturday daytime was taken up with something I still am trying to make sense of, but in a way glad it happened too, I think (dunno, am extremely confused right now), but then went out in the evening - took my gorgeous son for an Indian meal, was delicious I must say.
I did see your post about yr mouse freezing - that must have really got to you too.
Amazing how things work out when sober huh?
