RE: Going to video me screwing around and at the dyno w/ nit
either a firewire connection if both your camera and your cpu has a that ability (most all newer camera's do but cpu's don't, gotta buy a $30 firewire port). either that or fork out about $50 on something like a Pinnacle DVC-80 setup from Sears or something that allows you to use rca inputs from your camera to load into a USB port on your cpu. Firewire by far is the best way - those are the only 2 ways I know how.

Ok, so go to Best buy or some crap and buy a "firewire" so that will what? Allow me to plug in a card into my computer and it will have rca inputs? lol. Just a guess, correct me if im wrong. Thanks buddy.

If your PC doesn't have a firewire port built into the motherboard, then you can buy a firewire PCI card and plug it in to an available slot on your motherboard, provided you have room. That is the port card MD is referring to. Firewire is the fastest transfer method for external peripherals so it's the best way to transfer video to your PC. Just check your camera and make sure it has a firewire out port. It should if it's fairly recent.
