Glass in my foot

I stepped on a shard and i couldnt get it out because of where it is. I have had drawing ointment and a bandaid on it for a day now will take it off tonight and hopefully its out.

If not im off to the doc for amputation! :eek (well maybe not that extreme but it hurts!!)

It took me 3 weeks for this sucker to come out of my big toe at the beginning of this year...That shit hurt!

Ugh, I have delt with that agony/annoyance many times. I always end up cutting skin and digging with a needle and tweezers to get it out.

Soak your foot in hot water with I think it's Epson salt? That may be enough to push it completely out OR push it out far enough to get it with tweezers.

I tried drawing liquid and it didnt work its still in there its so small i cant see it, but i can feel it with my fingernail. Im soaking my foot right now hopeing it will be soft enough for me to be able to sqeeze it out but in all honesty i dont want it travelling up the way, if it hits an artery im fucked lol

Doc sounds like the answer.... interestingly in regards to the amputation comment.. my second cousin had his lower leg amputated yesterday after getting a Staph infection. He was in a VERY bad motorcycle wreck about 6 weeks ago and his leg was literally shattered. It's hard to believe what he has gone through.

I got off track a bit.. go to the doc... that sounds like something they should work on.

As for the glass its still there I dont normally go to the doctor unless im dying but i plan on going to see my brother in law tomorrow and he can dig it out for me lol
