I've seen this done on other forums and message boards where people would have a gift swap.
This is a thread to see how many people would be interested and if you are state so in this thread so I can get an idea if we should do this. Now this is how it works.
For example:
Me
James
Boomer
Heather
^all signed up to do this. The person in charge (haven't decided yet) would pair the people up in random. Say these people were paired up
I get james
james gets boomer
boomer gets heather
heather gets me.
We all will have someone to send a gift basket to the person you choose but we won't know who chose us so it will be like a suprise.
The gift baskets we send doesn't have to be more than $15-20
or if you don't want to dish out money for your chosen person, you can just throw in random stuff that doesn't cost money.
When everyone signs up, they will PM the person incharge and give them their address and info to help their secret gift swaper know what to put in their gift basket.
For example:
Me: Joey cheetah
2222 Trance St.
St. Paul, MN 55130
(5 favorite things)
Movies, working out, paintball, Trance music, and color blue
(This will help the person who chose me know what to throw in the giftbasket. When all if this info is handed out to everyone.)
We will set a day or week for everyone to ship out and from there let it all on unfold. We can even make a thread with pictures of what people recieved when they opened their package.
I'm just throwing this out to see how many people would be interested. If a lot of people like this idea, we'll organize it.
