Hey all, well worked hard yesterday and finally got a lot of errands done. Took yesterday off. We called the bank and got thinks rolling on refinancing our duplex and are thinking of refinancing the other duplex as well. The interest rates are soooo low. 2.25! That will really lower are payments. And with Joe's truck paid off, one of our credit cards paid off and my car getting their we are in pretty good shape if Evan doesn't have any more major expenses and the renter's don't either :p

We also worked on the property big time! We also picked the plan for our house from a book. I really like the layout, it's from a book of one story plans you mail away for. Anyway. Yesterday we to a hardware store and got 15 pieces of particle board and a big roll of plastic I mean huge. Then we already had a bunch of pallets. Then we went to the shed we have been working on as a workshop.

Now this guy we bought the place from kept everything! I mean we must have 20 gascans. And I don't mean any can cans but the old fashioned metal ones all different shapes they are damn heavy! We took all them out. A bunch of sh*t, in the 4 wheelbarrels we had (only one was ours) Paint, oilcans, the lighting isn't good there, I even picked up a dead rat!! :eek luckily I had gloves on, we bought solar lights that operate on something that you put the source outside to recharge, but haven't gotten them hooked up yet. And we do have a generator.

Then we leveled the dirt floor best we could, laid the heavy plastic on it, put the pallets on it to make a floor so we are off the dirt board and it smells sooo much better :tooth We ran out of time and had to put all in before we could nail the boards to the pallets (maybe this weekend after work (Joe is working an early shift or next week when Joe is next off work).

I tell you, Hart was very, very sore last nite :(, it was real hot, we went thru 4 2 liter bottles of water between us.

After it's all done we will have a pretty nice place to work in out of the elements.

Frankly folks, kinda glad to be back at work to lick my wounds and heal LOL.:D
