The one think I will say for GWB is thats its very easy to see through his stupidity. Someone like Blair is very good at covering it up with flowery speeches.

gracie, I gotta say you set yourself up for that one.

I think W is a decent guy, as decent guys go. I also think the guy that cleans the windows outside our office is a decent guy. But he's not qualified to be the President.

W is a good man, I agree, to some degree, but I gotta go off the reservation when someone says he's intelligent. I don't think he's necessarily stupid, but I surely don't think he's intelligent.

His redeeming quality is that he has a sense of humor. A REALLY REALLY good one!

Only problem is, it's not so good for the country for that to be the big thing.

I think he missed his calling. If he would just memorize his jokes instead of reading them he'd have a new career.

I always believed that was what got him into office in the first place. He appears honest and simple. I completely agree.

I don't know if I could describe someone responsible for so many deaths in Iraq as a good guy! Misdirected, maybe, but certainly not good!

I didn't set myself up for anything hun.

I am use to not having popular opinions or a popular perspective. Remember who I follow. ;)

What others say or think won't stop me from stating exactly what I believe to be right.

If you don't think the man is intelligent, that is your opinion. I just don't agree, in which it is no skin off of my back if people don't agree with me. :)

I see where you're coming from, PP, but that assessment is a little harsh. There hasn't been a Commander-in-Chief that hasn't lost a single troop while in office.

I would imagine that as a leader, the most difficult thing to do would be to make the decision to send young men and women into battle when you know casualties will ensue.

It depends on the reason for war. We were taken into the war against Iraq based on a proved lie. George W Bush, Tony Blair, John Howard and any other leader who supported this war are war criminals as far as I'm concerned!

I agree, and yet the things all of us say are rarely exactly right.

too much evidence to the contrary to draw the conclusion that he's intelligent. He's not. He's decent and honest, but so is my garbage man. :cool

Wrong. Many believe. Few FOLLOW.

Never claimed they were, just stated that nothing would stop me ffrom stating what I believed to be right was. I could care less if someone laughs at my opinion. I laugh at other's opinions as well. ;)
