I've recently taken up gardening. Like, this morning recent. Anyway, I planted these pretty little flowers that look like tiny lillies and some flowers that are orange and yellow, similar to daisies. I'll be planting sunflower seeds tomorrow morning when it's not as hot. There are a lot of rocks in the soil though, and I'm worried about them affecting the growth of the flowers. There are also a lot of these fat worms (grubs?) and I'm not sure if they are gonna eat on my plants or not.

Anyone have any advice on this?

keep the plants and seeds well watered until established,i wouldn't worry too much about stones in the soil though,to a degree these can act as drainage in wet weather

as for the grubs,i dont know what you have over there

Hmmm, that's interesting. I was worried the stones might stunt their growth or something lol

Hmm, none of those. I can't find it on google either. They're these worms about the length of my pink finger and the width of a phone charger cord, or the cord on your computer mouse. They have a kind of shell that reminds me of the rollie pollie bugs.
