I just want to fucken sleep. Tim and I went to bed 2 hours ago and I can't fall asleep for the life of me. I'm having bad acid indigestion which feels like i'm throwing up in my throat and i feel like my lungs are being squeezed...so between the both of those I CAN'T BREATH. The baby is awake kicking the fuck out of my bladder which is making me get up every fucken 15 minutes to try and piss when i only get 2 drops out (and I swear I can feel him 'muahahahaing' inside of me.). I'm just really tired :(

*HUGS* I'm so sorry to hear you're having a bad night. Do you have Alka-Seltzer? Pepto? The Pepto would coat your espophagus really good.

I'm spitballing here.

Put a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and chug it because it'll taste like shit, but it helps heartburn and upset stomachs when you dont have pepto. It's similar to alka seltzer lol.

Nope...it coats. I used to eat yogurt in the middle of the night to settle my stomach when I was pregnant.

well bottoms up then!

milk is a base, so it counteracts the acid. It generally works pretty well for when I get heartburn and don't have any pepcid or anything to take.

Until it gives you a problem in your digestive system of a whole other type. ;[

I can't help you, because unfortunately I couldn't find a damn thing to cure my heartburn with while I was pregnant. I just chugged water..which of course doesn't help the bladder problem. :( I'm sorry.

Contrary to popular belief, milk is not a recommended antidote to heartburn. A glass of milk does provide immediate relief as it goes down, but milk contains calcium and protein, and these eventually stimulate even more acid production in the stomach. This can cause a more severe heartburn that can return in as little as a half an hour.
Milk is a big no no when it comes to heartburn... actually any dairy product
