I was eating some chili just now and I bit my tongue hard enough to make it bleed.

Now it's all numb. I bit my lips a lot, but never my tongue, that hurt like hell.

Ouch. I have a tendency to bite the inside of my cheek, which caused me problems when I had my wisdom teeth out.

You mean everyday you sit there and bite at the insides of your cheek?

Not on purpose, but yeah, most days I bite it at least once.

I thought i was the only one. I rarely ever realize when I'm doing it.

I bit my stitches into my cheek after my wisdom teeth came out and that's when I first noticed.

back in like middle school I had gotten novacaine when I was having work done on my teeth, and I bit a huge chunk out of my bottom lip. When the novocaine wore off it hurt like hell. I still have a callous there.

Yeah, I have a line on both sides of my cheeks where they had to take out the stitches. I still tend to bite there.

I do it too...its a nervous habit.

I bite my cheeks, and my lip.

I do it when I'm nervous, or when I'm bored.

I've never noticed if mine's a nervous habit or not.

mine is more of a boredom habit. I do it most in the morning when I'm driving if I'm not smoking or drinking anything.

I bite my cheeks (accidentally) but only sometimes when I am eating.
