Political issues spark free speech questions. How do you balance open dialogue and respect? Is censorship ever justified? What’s one way to create better public debates?

Balancing open dialogue with respect means encouraging diverse views while rejecting hate speech. Censorship may be justified to prevent harm, but it must be transparent. Better public debates can arise from fact-checking, moderated forums, and teaching critical thinking skills early.

The US was the first country, that guaranteed free speech in the written form. However, it is sad that free speech is restricted in the United States. Dissents are being deported or put behind bars. If this is the reality in the US, what can be said about the Communist China.
