I'm sitting here listening to Metallica, which I haven't listened to in a while...

While I'm doing that, I was just posting in the movie connections thread, and the last person to be posted was Sylvester Stallone who was in a movie called "Judge Dredd".

The Tagline of the movie is: One man is Judge, Jury, AND Executioner.

No more than a few seconds after reading that as I'm listening to Metallica the line "I'm judge and I'm jury and I'm executioner too" comes across from their "Dirty Window" song off their St. Anger album.

Well at school yesterday, I had that too:

I was on the 101S Freeway going to college and I kept driving near a Volkswagon (one of those Golf ones) with an interesting license plate I can't remember. It had a dent on its ass too. After I finished college, I found out I could leave early. So I leave early, get on my bike and bump into the same guy driving the same car. He lets me pass. We were going in completely different directions. I get to my car, go to the street I take to go back on the freeway seeing the SAME guy AGAIN right next to me. I lose him for a while. Then, once I get to the freeway entrance I change lanes to middle and see the SAME FUCKING GUY AGAIN!! I thought he was following me, but it turns out he wasn't. Still - freaking conspriacy man!

Oh, and St. Anger sucks ass.

Well no, it does suck. Most people are just idiots and can't figure out that it's the worst album ever made. I'm not calling you an idiot, SI, I know you're quite capable of being fully coherent but it's time that people finally opened their eyes and accepted the fact that Metallica is dead now. Dave Mustaine always bragged that he was better than them... and look at that - now he is.
Oh well, back to weird coincidences.

Lol I'm not talking about how many CDs were sold... wait, see that's exactly the problem most people go through. While I'm talking about quality here, you talk about quantity. Every Metallica fan would buy/download their latest CD, but this one just plain sucked and there is no doubt about it.

Yes it is about record numbers sold. People who don't like the album aren't going to buy it. There are far more fans of Metallica than there are Megadeth. The record sales SHOULD show that, my point was that Metallica has enjoyed much more success. Along with record sales come tshirt/misc products, posters and concert profits.

I bet most everyone on this board could name at least 10 Metallica songs, where as even I, a minimal Megadeth fan, could only name 2 or 3 of their songs.

Attention all post whores:

There is a thread up ^^^ there for your post whoring abilities to be shown. *growls*

As for odd coincidences...I had a good day today, and it was a very dismal day and the rest of the people were miserable. It was in the low 40s, windy with rain, and there were nothing but clouds visible in the sky. That's not a normal Central Texas day by any means. But it was one of the best days I've had in a long time. My comfort is everyone else's misery... *smirks*

I tend to do the whole weird shit thing a lot, though. If I talk about how I want another ferret, there's suddenly things about weasels and ferrets all over the place. If I look for ONE thing EVERYWHERE and can't find it, and then settle for something else...then that one thing suddenly shows itself and does so in abundance. I think that occurs with everyone in life.
