True Story

This man and his son were at home the other day when the dad went to get one of his guns out of the gun cabinet and it went off and shot the son in the chest and abdomen. The 16 yr old son is in ICU, his organs are all shutting down, etc.
Come to find out, the safety on the gun was on but the gun still went off. Needless to say, the gun manufacturer is being sued. I would be so freakin pissed!

Sounds like yet another good reason that stupid people shouldn't own guns.

1. Safety or no safety, never point a gun at someone unless you are going to shot them.
2. Always handle a gun as though it were loaded.
3. Never leave a loaded gun sitting around. That includes the gun cabinet.

If any one of the above were followed, this would not have happened.

It's a shame that the family has to go through this, but it's a safety and not a gun lock.
