Buddhism’s Four Noble Truths are often interpreted today as a form of mental therapy. Do you think their real purpose is spiritual liberation, or have they evolved into tools for emotional healing?

The Four Noble Truths as described by the Buddha is a philosophical idea. It states that there is sorrow in the world and how we humans can get away from sorry. It can also be considered spiritual idea because it pushes the concept of liberation.

The Four Noble Truths in Buddhism function as both a psychological and spiritual framework. Psychologically, they identify suffering, its causes, and methods to reduce it, which aligns with modern mental health approaches. Spiritually, they guide ethical living, meditation, and insight toward liberation. Together, they offer practical tools for understanding the mind and pursuing inner freedom.
