Just a little indulgence. A poem from me to my lady, who made my Valentines, my birthday, and my every day better just for her being herself and loving me as she does
Randomly sited, equally forlorn
One year along from our love being born
One year now since we spoke the first time
One year on from you being mine
Bereft of contentment till hearing your tone
Every day without fail on the end of the phone
Kindred minds, tied hearts, the feelings did grow
Taking that chance and meeting to know
Finding you were more than I could ever wish for
But knowing that just left me needing much more
Till New Years it came and on bended knee
You promised me you and I promised you me
I love you fiancée.
