OK so many did not want the flu shot.. Fair enough but they say this years will be one of the worse and that the shot was pretty close to bang on..

How many took the shot and still got the flu already but only had a mild or real bad reaction..

How many did not get the flu shot, got the flu and how bad or mild was it ?

I would be interested in hearing from both if we have some of both already as this seems to have hit areas were we have posters in..

There is still time to get the flu shot for this year for those who have not got it yet..

Five states reported high levels of flu activity -- Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. Widespread activity was reported in four states, regional activity was seen in seven states and 19 states reported local flu activity, CDC officials said. That was up from eight states that reported local flu activity the previous week.

The strains making people sick are influenza A -- both H3N2 and the 2009 H1N1 or pandemic swine flu strain -- and influenza B. So far, the vaccines manufactured for this season appear to be a good match, health officials said.

Got the flu shot and the pneumonia shot. Ain't been bad sick yet, nothing that lasted long and I blame that on being around a bunch of little brats.

I never get the flu shot. I haven't had the flu since I was a senior in high school. *knock on wood*

I get a Flu shot every year, no sense taking extra chances

No flu shot for me.
Matter of fact I don't know anyone in my circle planning/getting a flu shot.
My brother presently has a cold and has no attentions for a shot.
If I catch the flu/cold...I let it take its course...with cold remedies.

My family and me were struck by that bad new stomach virus. I'm finally getting better. It was very very..unpleasant.
