I don't know exactly what happened(I have a sister that uses my computer), but my CD-ROM isn't reading CDs(Not playing music or any of that from the CDs), and it was a few weeks ago. Apparently it's showing error code 39, and it isn't doing anything when I use the Roll Back Driver option, update the driver, or uninstall and then reinstall my CD-ROM. I also tried going in the computer, unplugging the CD-ROM entirely, and then reattatching it, to no avail.

Any ideas on what I can do?

Well, CD-Roms don't need drivers anyway, unless you're running Windows 95, in which case, I will blatantly refuse to help you until you upgrade ;).
