i was just thinking something...how many of you REALLY know how to stay safe when handling fireworks and sparklers?

ok lets go with the obvious...stand away from the rockets when you've set off the fireworks, wear gloves and wear eye protection. but you can still have a bad time afterwards.

sparklers...many of us like showing off our little tricks with them. we always keep them at arms length and wear gloves, and dispose of them in a bucket of water. but some of us can get out of hand with them, and it results in bad consquences. just what im trying to say is - remember to keep yourself safe at ALL times.

same with fireworks...don't get out of hand with them. only buy fireworks marked BS 7114, and don't drink alcohol before you set them off.

stay safe guys...in 2005 there were over 400 injuries in one month! a lot of people! keep yourself safe...so can anyone else find any interesting facts for me?

I am certified and approved to handle and transport fireworks and explosives. Had to sit thru several hours of safety training and submit for background checks.

I was gonna work part time for a company called Pyro Shows but I couldn't work around my schedule to suit them.
