Has anyone seen the movie fireproof? I was told to watch this with my husband. Has anyone else watched it?

I'm not really into fantasy movies.. And "Jerk" Cameron is in the lead, so I don't think I'll ever watch it.

I've seen it, V. It was slow starting and, at some points, you really wanna kick a certain character's head in for being such a grouchy bitch...but in the end it was a very good movie. Not TOO preachy...just a little bit.

*facepalm* OMG, V...did you not watch Growing Pains when you were a kid??? He's Mike Seaver!!! Yanno...Candice Cameron's real life older brother.

He's the child actor, turned moron who went on faux news, among others, trying to defend creationism with completely braindead arguments. For example: by arguing that the absence of a creature like the "crocoduck" (pic) disproves the evolutionary link between birds and reptiles.

I haven't really kept up w/ him much. I know he's a big Christian and won't kiss anybody other than his wife even in a movie, I remember hearing that. Regardless of whatever weird views he might have, at least he didn't go the way of a lot of child stars.

I got dragged to it by my dad as a way to try and make me realize the "error of my ways". It didn't work. It was an okay movie, just way too preachy.
