Final 'SAW V' Casting and Official Synopsis!

A few days late on this news(I already heard it, just been busy), but still amazing news.

We scored some pretty juicy SAW V bits from Lionsgate this afternoon starting with the final casting news for the film. We learned that Laura Gordon will play Ashley, Greg Bryk (Screamers 2, Shoot Em Up) will play Malick and Carlo Rota (Boondock Saints) will play Charles in the fourth sequel arriving in theaters October 24.

If that wasn't cool enough, here's the OFFICIAL synopsis for the film:

In the fifth installment of the popular SAW franchise, Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends. SAW V is in theaters October 24, 2008.

I thought the first Saw was good, the second wasn't but it had a good beginning, the third was better than the second but still not that good, and the fourth was horrible. I'll see this one becaues it's tradition but I'm really not expecting anything worthwhile.
