FDR question

We all know that FDR the distant cousin of Teddy Roosevelt was President during the Great Depression. So how could a war blow the economy back up from when it was crashed?

Are you asking how could a war help the economy? If so the answer is pretty simple really. Huge amounts of spending have to happen especially for WWII. WWII employed tons of Americans. It opened and converted tons of factories to build the tanks, ships, planes that were needed for the war effort.

Really isn't much to debate, an engagement of that magnitude spurred military research, medical research, the development and construction of our current day space program and aircraft.

It was an altogether boon to the industrial revolution here stateside
