Anyone watch teenage mutant ninja turtles (now or previously)?

I used to watch it when i was a kid i.e. first generation TMNT. It was the coolest thing on TV and the movies. Of course being the UK they blocked all of the nunchuka scenes from michaelangelo so you had to find an american version to see the whole film. My fav at the time was donnatello, scientist with a bo staff!

Well my name is Leonardo so Leonardo was always my first choice, fighting with two 2H swords is also bad ass and blue is my favorite color. More reasons to love him :p

How could they block the fighting scenes? Those were the best parts! Did they put a black box over it or cut it out completely? That was the whole point of TMNT, to kick some butts! My favorite was Donatello. He wore the purple mask.

OH!!! I still love them, so when I saw the topic's title from the main forum I thought to come straight right here to post about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the belief that this topic was about regular turtles, haha

However, I'm devoted to the late 1980s-1990s Ninja Turtles, both the TV series and the movies. In fact my actual ringtone is the Ninja Turtles.

By the way, the other day I came across with this FTP site plenty of turtle audio, http://klav.ma3x.org/Classic%20Teenage%20Mutant%20Ninja%20Turtles%20-%20(1987-1996)%20TV%20RIP%20BG%20Audio/

Ah! My favorite is Michelangelo ;)

As a kid I always thought Michelangelo was the best, mostly because I thought he was funny. Now as an adult I realize Rapheal is the best, and was the best in the original movie as well. He has more of a realistic personality and he's stirs things up. He's a big part of what makes the original movie great. His weapons aren't the best though. I've always joked how it didn't make much sense for Raphael and Leo to carry bladed weapons when they're mostly not willing to cut anyone... but suddenly when they're fighting robots, they'll be slicing off heads. I think it'd make a little more sense if they weren't so locked into specific weapons for each turtle. I did watch a little of the newest Nick TMNT and there was a scene in like the first episode where Mikey did something really violent to one of those guys, but then it ended up being a robot so I guess he lucked out. I can't remember exactly what it was, he knocked the guy's head off or something, not knowing he was a robot at the time.

Used to like Raphael as a kid but saw him for the annoying character he was once I grew up. Probably the most immature turtle out there (even more so than Mikey).Mikey's awesome he's fun. He's like the Joey of TMNT (or maybe Joey is the Mikey of FRIENDS). Leo is ok and so is Donatello but Mikey is for sure the most entertaining of the lot.

It was simply edited out so no-one knew it was there. The UK government thought that british people are so stupid they will try to copy michaelangelo and hurt themselves or others with the nunchaku. Also the bruce lee films had nunchaku scenes edited out too - shocking i know! This is not the case now though, we're talking early 1990's
