With the holidays coming up, what are your favorite holiday movies?

1. White Christmas
2. Christmas Carol (George C Scott is my favorite version)
3. Home Alone (we always watch this Thanksgiving night)

I love them all but I guess if I had to pick one it would be 'It's A Wonderful Life'. I love all the stop motion animated classics too, like 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer'.

A Christmas Story is a Canadian classic and plays every single year. I can't recall a year that my family and I haven't sat down to watch it together. If you haven't seen it, then I suggest that you give a viewing this xmas.

Home Alone is probably the best Christmas comedy ever. I also like Gremlins, It's a wonderful life, Polar Express and Die hard.

I like Elf most of all. It's a lot less cheesy than most other holiday films, not that there's anything wrong with being cheesy, though. I don't really like holiday movies that much, to be honest, but it's nice to have them playing on TV as background noise when we're celebrating as a family.

I forgot to mention Mickey's Christmas Carol. I loved watching this on tv every year around Christmas. I was saddened when they stopped showing it. Thay was a good Christmas movie and I wish they would bring it back. I would love to see it again.

A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, Nightmare Before Christmas, Bad Santa, Gremlins, and all of Shane Black's Xmas-set non-Xmas movies.

My favorite holiday movies are "The Good Witch", "Halloweentown", "The Nanny Express", and any fairy-tales such as Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Cinderella, and so on. I really like "The Good Witch" because it's so warmhearted. "The Nanny Express" is a romance movie, which I think it is a very cute and sweet movie right there!

I remember when they use to show lots of holiday movies on tv. I couldn't wait for the holidays because I got to watch so many good cartoons and I would stay up late watching them. Now they barely show any and the ones they do show are not as entertaining as the old ones.

It's not strictly a holiday movie, but Just Friends centers around Christmas. It's one of my favorite comedies and overall favorite movies, and it gets me into the spirit of Christmas when I watch it. I don't really care for "classic" holiday movies but I am a huge fan of Nightmare Before Christmas. It's both a Halloween and a Christmas movie, too, so that's a plus.

I was pretty much a Disney kid so anyone of the classics right up to "Beauty and the Beast" are really nostalgic for me. Yes, the "Home Alone" movies were a lot of fun too!
