I would like to start by saying that i LOVE to cook i love food at times and hate it the next.
so with that being said i will start with the most basic foods i love.

Well lets see. i will start off with Whole grain brown Rice.
Lightly fry some Tilapia in some extra virgin Olive oil. with a dash of Lemon juice
with a hint of Lemon zest. and some freshly plucked parsley from my garden. Then i would grill some Mango's and some Pineapple.
Pull it all together with some black beans and a sprinkle of freshly grind pepper and you got yourself a meal.

The really thing rice noodles, any type of meat or shrimp that you desire, lots of veggies like onions and little broccoli's and I believe there is actually some fried egg in it too...all seasoned with curry and something else that I can't quite figure out. It's very good!

Send me some when you do! I'm currently in an Indian food phase...I've been trying everything Indian. It's hard to get the same flavor though, because I don't always have days to marinate, and hours to simmer.

I know what you mean. for me its just not having the money to get anything worth wild. (living with mom food stamps)
