Favorite comics?

Does anyone here read comic books? If so, do you have a favorite comic book series?

I never read any comic books until I started reading a series called "Locke & Key" by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. It is an awesome dark fantasy series with a total of six volumes (with six issues of comics in each volume). I just finished volume six last month.

I hear a rumor that they are going to make this series into a movie (I sure hope they do). It was originally planned to be a tv show. They made a trailer for it and showed it at the 2011 Comic Con but I don't think it ever went anywhere after that. Now they're trying to make a trilogy out of it, last I heard.

I feel like I should self promote, but I won't haha.

I enjoy some of the underground and more indie titles. I have never been able to get into the superhero type stuff. I do enjoy a bit of Archie and most things by bongo.

EDIT: Should probably mention, I don't know a lot about comics and it is only since I met James that I have started to look at them a little closer.

I did not read comics when I was a kid, my father did not allow comics, however, he brought illustrated story books. I did not read comics until I was around 18. But I did not read a lot as I was already into some other kinds of books
