Is that really what beast looks like in the new movie? I don't keep up with the comics but I do get in the habit of reading stuff on Wikipedia. it almost looks like Beasts most recent mutation and not the beast from say the past films. Besides I thought in the comics he originally hadn't mutated yet?

If I recall in X-Men #1 (his first appearance) he was already mutated, though not blue. I am a little fuzzy on that era.
