Screens dominate family life, reducing quality time. How do you set healthy screen time boundaries for kids or adults? What activities bring your family closer without devices? What are your tips for balancing tech and family bonding?

We play board games, this is a good way to divert our kids form screen. Sometimes we also have cooking time and we sit to cook together. My kid enjoys helping in the kitchen.

Board games and cooking together not only reduce screen time but also build bonding and life skills. I’ve seen how kids light up when included, they feel capable, connected, and truly present with the family.

Managing family life and screen time is all about balance. I set screen limits for myself and engahe in offline activities like walks or board games. Screen-free meals and tech-free zones help us reconnect and stay present with one another.
