I just had my first family dinner (minus joe) at my house. We (me, austin and jacob) sat at the dinner table and ate like regular familys eat. I even made them ask me if they could get up from the table. LOL It was great. :)

Austin started school on monday. Jacob will have to wait until next year to get started because they dont have the program for him here that they had in lowndes county. :)

Its starting to get alittle better.

I reckon it's a great idea to sit around the table as a family - we always tried to do it with Rachel. It's a good time to talk to the kids about their day, get to know who their friends are at school, give them family news, discuss the biggest news story & get their opinions - naturally you ask them what they think it is. (I know that they may both be a little young yet, but this is where you set it up)

You can also throw in some Stranger Danger, manners, good habits etc. Just don't use the time to preach otherwise they will not participate eagerly - let them steer the conversation with regular nudging from you.

I'm not sure what the situation is. Sounds like your pulling yurself together from something. And it sounds like your making a new start, Very sucessfully I might add.
Good Job.

Now please excuse UncleBacon before he explodes.
