After Tampa Bay lost today to Denver, it sealed the deal for the Falcons! They're headed to the post-season with a clinch of the NFC South division!

I hope the Falcons win at least one playoff game this year because I feel bad for Falcons fans who have had to endure so much failure in the playoffs after enjoying good regular seasons over the last number of years.

Yep. Same here. But hopefully we can play worth a damn this playoff season. Sundays game was a disgrace, also.

Falcons win/shutout over the Giants 34-0.

What do the announcers say?
"Well, the Falcons still aren't a threat to other teams. It's a battle between the Redskins and Giants. The Giants will have another end of the season run, and win the playoffs. Atlanta still isn't the most dangerous team in the league. They win today over the Giants bringing their record to 12-2. Best in the league."

Does anyone else see the obvious favoritism towards the dynasty teams in the NFL, and the blatant contradiction of themselves? I hate it. ATL will never be in the national spotlight as a competitive team because of their 0-3 record in the playoffs with the Smith/Ryan decade. It makes me mad, but it also feels like if they keep flying under the radar of these thick-skulled announcers, that it'll be a bit more satisfying if we do make it to the Super Bowl.
