Eyes of Silence
looking for a voice
Can you hear what I feel
Can you give me a choice

Looking up at the sky
at that one dark cloud
Wondering, hoping
my fear will be out loud

Eyes of Silence
within, is the pain
They burn with the sun
They cry with the rain

Hoping someone can hear me
the screaming from within
the silence is deafening
the reality, a sin

Eyes of Silence
hoping for a way
to escape from this madness
the price too sad to pay

Looking around
as each day I go thru
Each night I lie awake
for what, I ask you

Eyes of Silence
holding back what's inside
Hoping someone sees thru
all the hurt I try to hide

Once too often
everyday I live
with these eyes of silence
Is this all I have to give?

Thanks Silent. I fell asleep early this morning at around 2am. Then I woke up around 4:45am and these words just kept coming into my head. I tried to go back to sleep, but more words were coming, so finally at 5:30am I got up and wrote them all down. I was afraid I might forget some when I did finally wake up.
I just couldn't stop thinking about that thread you started. It's my life, too and I also don't know what to do...
