Extreme Makeover Home Edition

If anyone watches this show, tonights episode was filmed in the city I work in, just a couple blocks from my office.

I do watch that show sometimes. Mainly to talk about how crappy their ideas are.

I think I've seen one episode and it was for a guy who came back from the war to find the show and his fam had given him his own apartment in an empty area of their house. It was about a year ago probably.

Yea the episode in my city, was for a single mother of 4 kids (the youngest had CP). She owned a inner city duplex. The attached house was a 70 year old woman. They also gave her a brand new house as well.

Crappy ideas??? Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong show. Is this the one where Ty Pennington gives a needy family a new house and sends them on vacation while he does it??? Gah, that show makes me cry every time I watch it!!!

its a fantastic heart warming show........a show where people really try to help unfortunate people.......one thing pisses me off though.......they get hundreds if not thousands pulling out all the stops to help these people.......where are they when the tv cameras aren't there?

Who doesn't enjoy a good cry with this show? It's fantastic...

Yea not only did they do this house, but because it was a duplex they did the attached house also. A 70 year old woman.

They also fixed structural damage to 15 other houses on the block. CVS pharmacy donated truck loads of goods to local homeless shelters.

The mother of the 4 raised her first son living in a homeless shelter while she went to school.
