i don't usually recommend books, because reading is a matter of personal taste, but i love jeffrey eugenides (author of the pulitzer winning "middlesex"), and he recently wrote a short story which i think is brilliant and worth reading, it's a meditation on love. if you read it with an open mind i think you will find it an enriching experience. here's the link:

How in the world do you know he's young?oh and is he male?hey how abt me i've loved reading since i was able to read. but a real book i've read,without many pictures,small print and at least 300 pages...i guess since i was 11years old.like a man named dave,chicken soup and....oh i've read alice in wonderland and through the looking glass at 8/9 maybe.not really something to brag about but proud of it.what would you say about males liking to read books?do you thik it's true,'toomuchwit'?
