It's a great film, and it's not about Jim Carrey really.
It's written by Charlie Kaufman who has made some fantastic off the wall films, most notably aside from this being 'Being John Malkovich' which is even better.
There aren't many original screenplay writers around now, and even fewer who push the boundaries of Hollywood cinema.
