God I hope so... I'm not expecting a breakthrough in two years like he did with the Red Sox... he had a lot more to work there with than we have. But it's a damn good start, especially in the area of the farm system... Hendry was pretty good at evaluating and drafting young talent, but he kept raiding the cupboard to trade for marginal players... or overpaying for good ones. Then there's the albatross backloaded contracts like Soriano's. uke: But Theo seems to have one of the best minds in all of baseball... so I have faith. He was actually my second choice, with Andrew Friedman being my own preference, but Theo was 1b. :24:
