Envious people at work

well the boss man is the boss man... while i dont necessarily think too highly of him, he is the boss and it is through him i get my paycheck LOL The way i see it i am here to do a job, and it is because of that reason (I do my job, and i do it well) that I pretty much get what i want...

I dont whine
I stay late if needed
I come in early if needed
I keep my deadlines
I keep a professional demeanor when needed (believe it or not LOL)

Mainly, i love what i do, it is stressful but at the same time it is rewarding when months and months of planning culminate with a successful project closing. I think some of the other folks around here don't really like their work, I do and so far ive been doing it well so in my mind, If i get all the good stuff it is well deserved

That's fair enough, I was just trying to look at it from the other guys point of view, he sounds un happy but maybe it's his own fault if he's not putting the time and effort in.

I understand envy in the workplace. Everybody at work is envious of the stunning ease at which I find not caring.

I find that some folks at my workplace think i waste time a lot, but in all honesty, i get my work done and pretty fast... the way i see it the faster i get it done the more time i get to do nothing!

I wish you could put people in ignore in real life just like when you block them in facebook.

I have always remembered this: keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

I usually do ignore them. It flatters me that they hate me and they make such a great deal about what I do and what I don't do. Usually these type of people are hated by everyone else, so what I do, is that once I find out who hate them, I start planting little seeds here and there and others end up hating them so much more than me. It can backfire, so you have to be light with the little seeds you plant; it's worked for me every time
