How could we possibly hate the country that gave birth to us, unfortunately at the cost of a lot of aboriginal lives, but still, you sent some of the strongest people from your country to ours. The survivors & strugglers who fought against the classes & stole to survive. These people made a bloody great effort & built a country that is far better than it's parent - you can tell because all the poms want to come here to live.
I like to think that nearly all poms are Aussies, they just haven't gotten off their arses & moved over here yet.
