I found a quite interesting blog the other day I thought I'd share with you called Enemy of the State, it's an Anarcho-Capitalist/Libertarian blog, with some quite interesting stuff on it. Thought the libertarians/govt minimalists on the forum might find it a good read.

Enemy of the State said:
I received an email today from John McCain warning me of the evils of the Democrats and how he needs my help to stop them. It was entitled: We Have Just Begun to Fight.

He of course was half correct the Democrats are evil bastards, but no more evil and certainly no bigger bastards than the Republicans. Actually there is no noticable difference at all, they both suck!

Damn, you caught me! Kidding. I'm going to check that out. That excerpt makes him seem to be right down my alley.

If every single American realized that fact perhaps we'd be able to vote out the sold-out corruptness that is our government.........(after we get rid of electronic voting fraud) Pardon me if I don't hold my breath.

At first glance it seems to be a vent-fest; not really my cup o' tea. I did notice on that oooold announcement of the freedom summit the name Thomas Woods & the books he wrote. I checked my public library & reserved a copy of The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History. That should be an interesting read.

We're too easily fooled by the politics of divide-and-conquer. They do it by race, "class", and ideology. The best one that I can't seem to crack with those who are otherwise absolutely parallel in agreement with me is the argument that you can't trust the people on your own side. "Well, you have to vote for the party nominee, you see, because if you don't you'll split the vote ... then the eeeeeevil opposition party wins, and you don't want that, do you? Even if I get acknowledgment that BOTH controlling parties are the eeeevil opposition to American liberty & values, I just can't convince them to let go of the safety rail and trust that other people will too, eventually. No matter what I do, it seems that people are afraid to do what's right simply because they don't see the social support.

It's pretty good, but the ones about global warming and the south were much more interesting imo.

When we are in charge, whatever we do no matter how FU'd up, it's good. When "they" are in charge, they are Enemies of the State. (My State of Mind...)

Pardon me if I don't hold my breath.

I think it's everyone's duty to inform and educate. If you have beliefs outside the political norm, as many of us here seem to do, we need to engage our fellow citizens, and spread the word and don't get disheartened :)
