EMPTINESS
This perplexity vexed me/ My soul as an entity/ Carries on with no other/ no intimacy, no lover/ Stagnancy devours me/ eating me from the inside/ I hide my solitude/ in libations I delude/ My attitude seems precocious/ But in my mind love is hopeless/ Walls deteriorating around a fallacy of the way people see me/ I appease the hordes of many/ But still inside I feel empty/ Living day by day like a repeating movie / Hoping no one can see through me/ I march on with good intentions/ Looking for my happy ending.
