Electronic Music

Anyone here like Electronic music? It's one of the genres I mainly like.

i do. not much new stuff really but i like a lot of old skool drum and bass. I used to ONLY listen to electronic music. I have grown out of a lot of the music (happy hardcore, trance, etc) but still like some of it. My husband was a DJ, thats how we met...lol.

I dabble in electronica occasionly, I do like a lot of electronica bands, and once I did see a band called Code in the Clouds live - although it was a pretty dire experience to be honest. 8 pints in and I was still bored.

I used to be really into it during the 90s Mase. I ended up selling nearly every electronic album I had.

All I have left is some Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Apollo 440 and some Hardfloor - pretty mainstream. I miss my Kraftwerk stuff.

I never got into drum and bass - in fact that kind of killed the buzz for me - I liked 80s/90s house, ambient, acid trance - more that kind of thing.

They're good! I had their first album - at the moment I only have the mp3 of Trip Like I Do but I really like it!

Used too like dance/trance though the late 90's, had a lot of Euphoria disc sets, then went off that sort completely

Still enjoy a few groups that dabble a bit in electro , Ladytron, Calvin Harris, The Galvatrons and the Kraftwerk Remixes are firm favorites of mine

Electronic instruments are musical instruments, but besides that, plenty of electronic music incorporates vocals and the playing of traditional instruments (sometimes through the use of samples admittedly).
