Don't you guys just love the holidays?

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the shed, All creatures were stirring, even old Ed. The bodies were hung from the rafters above, While Eddie was searching for another new love. He went to Wautoma for a Plainfield deal, Looking for love and also a meal. When what to his hungry eyes should appear, But old Mary Hogan in her new red brassiere. Her cheeks were like roses when kissed by the sun. And she let out a scream at the sight of Ed's gun. Old Ed pulled the trigger and Mary fell dead, He took his old axe and cut off her head. He then took his hacksaw and cut her in two, One half for hamburger, the other for stew. And laying a hand aside of her heel, Up to the rafters went his next meal. He sprang to his truck, to the graveyard he flew, The hours were short and much work must he do. He looked for the grave where the fattest one laid, And started in digging with the shovel and spade. He shoveled and shoveled and shoveled some more, Till finally he reached the old coffin door. He took out a crowbar and pried open the box, He was not only clever but sly as a fox. As he picked up the body and cut off her head, He could tell by the smell that the old girl was dead. He filled in the grave by the moonlight above, And once more old Ed had found a new love.

There once was a man named Ed Who wouldn't take a woman to bed. When he wanted to diddle, He cut out the middle, And hung the rest in a shed.

Don't worry I'm chilled. I might come across as an ass but I'm not. For example I refer to my friends as douche bags but I don't really mean it. I'm not mad I was just bored.

Well I just figure when you made that comment, you seemed mad. Obviously I like Ed Gein. One of my favorite movies(The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) was loosely based on him.

I've seen actual pictures of Ed Gein's work... There isn't a word in Webster's English Dictionary that could properly describe how amazingly disgusting it was.

But I'm just trying to imagine the reaction of the person who discovered all of the mutilated bodies in the shed. He must have been thrown in the looney bin, or something, because the pictures I've seen in black and white were pretty gruesome.

:confused Okay... Who's Ed Gein?? I have never heard of him.

Well, then you have been living under a rock since 1957. Ed Gein was the man that many movies, such as Buffalo Bill, Psycho, and the more recent Texas Chainsaw Massacre, were based on. Read about him at Crime Library: Ed Gein

Well, I only heard about Ed Gein for about a year. I mean, of course, I've seen the Texas Chainsaw movies, haven't really heard of him till recently. That, and I'm not a huge fan or horror movies :p Ever since I saw a clip of Hostel, everything started going to hell.

Hostel is shit. It's a pathetic attempt at a good horror movie. I liked it, but it wasn't what it's all cracked up to be. Scariest movie in a decade my ass.

Ah... Okay thank you. And I havn't been living under a rock... At least. I don't think. =P

Ok then. And most people never do hear of the people behind the stories. Which is why I started a thread about the true stories behind horror movies. :D
