In shackles and handcuffs, 39-year-old Shannon Dopson of Pine Bluff makes her way in front of a Jefferson County judge to hear what she's being charged with in the death of 14-year-old Elizabeth Cimprich.

Arkansas State Police Sgt. David Sims says, “The speed limit is 55 and she was doing well above it from what we see."

New details give insight into what happened Thursday afternoon along Highway 79 south, just outside of Pine Bluff. Arkansas State Police say Dopson was driving her Ford Explorer and passed a stopped school bus.

According to Sims, Elizabeth and her brother got off the bus. As she was crossing the street, that's when Sims says Dopson hit her.
