Maybe only furnish a resume if asked directly. Fill out job history as ambiguously as possible.

use smaller less intelligent words. put less experience and leave out work...it can be done. It leaves you open to share what you do know should the job wnat more of you. Only problem is, is that if you are found out, you will be seen as dishonest and that could really hurt you.

Do you have too many jobs? I read that you can get away with condensing your early work history into a brief summary, especially if it's not really relevant to the positions you're applying for.

I never got being "over qualified". When applying for jobs. Jobs are jobs. A source of income. If you look over qualified on a resume. Maybe you're just humble...

Well, imagine someone like a rocket scientist applying to work in a supermarket.

The assumption is that they'll get bored and move on.

People don't want THE MOST qualified person ever, they want someone who'll stick at the job. If you're a little brilliant, they assume that you'll eventually want something bigger and better, even if the truth is you just want something to get by with and have no aspirations whatsoever.

Yea no joke. They had a story on NPR about physicists and such working as janitors because of the economic decline.

I know I'd never put my graduate schooling on a resume again until I get licensed (maybe not even my BA :s) so I would omit schooling unless it applies directly to the job (I thought I recall you taking classes, but if I was wrong just ignore this lol)

Anyway, good luck!

maybe it the ongoing education should be put at the bottom?

I am no expert. I would think thought that continuing ed would be ok to add. I shall do some looking about on that.
