Wow, I haven't been around for a while!
Some updates in my life:
Matt got laid off his job, but this is definitely a good thing. He left with two years' salary, $5000 to put towards a car, he gets to keep the company car for six months, and a whole lot of stuff. He's actually really ecstatic and happy about this, because he can put his English degree to use now. He actually did a whole bunch of schooling before he got into the job he's in now, because he wanted to be a teacher, but that got sidetracked and it's a really long story (if it were a book, a chapter would take place in Israel... Matt wanted to be a rabbi! Which I have trouble picturing). The point is: he's going to finish up the credits he needs, and get into teaching hopefully by '09. Mostly right now, though, he's getting back into the music scene he fell out of, and jamming with a bunch of dudes from the Blocks recording club in Toronto. We may be moving soon, again, back to city-land, since kids are now not happening for at least a few years, and Matty has connections with schools in the T-dot.
Myself, I've been spending some time with my Dad. My parents' divorce is actually going relatively smoothly. Dad's leaving for India soon, where he'll be spending some time with my sister in Bangalore, and then he's doing something in China. He gets around.
I really haven't been doing exciting things, but it's been a lot of activity around.
