I just ordered one after seeing it on Uncrate. It's pretty much the type of strap I've been looking for.

It fits DSLR and P&S, I figured the photographers around here might like to check it out.

The price is a little eh, but, it came in OD, so they reeled me in. :24:

I thought you hardly used your camera :p

I'm like Pink, hardly use the strap, especially if I'm indoors. If I'm near anything that involves a drop though, like at zoos where you can lean over the animal enclosures, I put it around my neck because otherwise I will absolutely lose it to an inquisitive bear or something.

I don't like my camera for two reasons.

A) Too much shit to keep track of.
B) I hate having a camera hanging around my neck, looking like a doofus tourist.

:D

Where do you look like a doofus tourist with your camera ?

You would hate to carry around what I do.. ( Seriously )..

I just feel silly in general walking around with a camera around my neck. Blech.

I can understand that and the neck strap would only be used when and in places where you are over ledges and want to make sure you do not drop the camera..

As an example when I was in Niagara Falls it was hard to bring the tripod into the halls underneath the falls. Leaning over to get a clear shot I would put on the strap only to ensure my Camera would not slip out of my hands..

There are only few times I can honestly say a strap comes in handy.. I would rather use the Tripod or Freehand take the shot above my head then to have something like a cowbell about me.. But then again I usually have two handles to hold onto.. :D

Maybe that pertains more to someone carrying a P&S....With a DSLR and lens attached on a sling- i think you would look more like a 'photographer' ( is that worse? :p) ....On the other hand....It can be a great conversational piece esp as an ice breaker with a HOT lady photographer.

I like my camera worn on a sling at times during short walk arounds on parks etc. & will need one of those due to it's adjustable length. However, the description says- it's not recommended for DSLR's with heavy lenses :(

Yeah, I think they are talking about big telephoto lenses. What's the biggest piece of glass you have? I doubt it's more than the strap can handle.

They just have to put that on there so some bozo doesn't hang his EF 1200mm on it, and it break, and he sue the company. :p

You have a point  It would be nice if besides the length expansion- the weight limit would have been provided too eh. Gotta call & ask :D

I am dumb when it comes to lenses. But my 28-135 mm is already heavy enough for my sling that came with the camera. Surely too with my love of landscape shots, soon will have a telephoto lens and maybe it's gonna be heavier :dunno

It comes with style :tooth
