Okay since we're all buddy Buddy with recreational drugs on here in one way or another. Most of society is doped up on something or other nowadays and are allowed to be behind the wheel yet if you show the slightest sign your intoxicated with alcohol you're written up. I think if you're taking any sort of drug that impairs you then you should have your license pulled. What are your thoughts?

DUI is DUI in the US. It doesn't matter whether it's alcohol, or recreational drugs, and you can be DUI even on prescription drugs. You'll get busted all the same.

And then there are those who drive like they're under the influence even when they are not. Some should never be given a license in the first place.

Suspending someone's license or even revoking it will not stop them from driving. There are plenty of people out there driving right now without a license.

They are? Got facts to back that up?

Are they? Again, evidence would be nice

I'm not being snappy, i'll say well done if you find the facts to back your claims up.

Even if they're not doped up on something their driving is attrocious. But with the amount of perscription drug ads on tv and the amount of Methadone clinics in the area I wouldn't be surprised! Come live where I live and study peoples driving behaviors.

First I've heard that people on drugs are allowed behind the wheel, they lose their license if caught over here. Not really sure I understand the point of this thread. It seems to be moaning about a problem which dosen't exist.

Now what part of your post above states facts backing up what you said?

That's right, none! You know why? Because you are talking complete bollocks. You have no facts, no staistical numbers with the number of people doped up. You stated that the majority of society these days are on drugs...that may well be true, but we don't know without numbers and facts.Something which your post did not contain. Think about what your saying in the future, especially with such a strong statement as that.

It's just you having a moan. My drugs thread > This one.

If you're on prescription drugs that impair your driving then you should be held accountable as if u were drunk on alcohol. I know damn well they aren't atleast around here. You're uin the UK I'm sure its not the same kind of problem it seems to be here.

I doubt it, never heard of the USA allowing people on drugs to drive, I'm sure someone would have had a moan about it by now if that was true. Like Springsteen said, you make sweeping statements and refused to back it up with any facts. Not even sure why you're moaning about people being on drugs anyway seeing you like to get drunk on one of the harder drugs, alcohol, on a regular basis. I stand by what I said, this is a pointless thread which makes no sense.

people are allowed to have medication and drive!!
Unless directed otherwise, some medication can make a person slugish....but, there are very few nowadays that prohibit driving.
If people do drive while being advised not too risk there own insurance!! and will be liable in the eyes of the law to any accidents that happen.
