Do you have any?

i have them kinda often but didn't have one last night

i had this one a few nights ago, i am at loss to what the hell it means, i didn't have any alcohol or pot the night before

I first dreamed that i was on a walk up to the top of Ben Nevis with two people who i have never seen in my life, iv done that before out of sleep but in the dream the location was entirely different, we went walking up a mountain but across some fields surrounded by monasteries, and for the final bit we had to take our shoes off for some unknown reason. At that point i got it into my head that we had all been shipwrecked and we were on an island without any shoes, we wanted to find out if there was anyone in one of the monasteries so i went in one. The interior was similar to the 1960s derelict hospital that used to stand just down my road and i started running down the dang light blue corridors shouting at pairs of floating eyeballs that they were graphical defects.
I then went though a door into a laboratory at which point all the pairs of eyes had morphed into five or six Dr. Mecadoc's (character from Bomberman Jetterz (An anime)) who were all trying to squash me with massive industrial metal trolleys. I decided to get out and found when i had my shoes had disappeared so i looked under a bush and got some new ones and i ran up a hill.

At this point i woke up and then went back to sleep shortly afterwards

i was in a pub and had agreed to buy some random woman a pint of fosters and a cheri, so i did so and then i realized i didn't have any money, i had a conversation about that with some blue haired industrial goth who had wooden teeth with drawing pins sticking out who said that the last time she had to get out of a situation was drug running. I went back to a hotel to check the pockets of a pair of trousers that i thought i might have a credit card in but got distracted by the TV which was showing a program about a woman called glum who only had one leg and one arm, it documented her life and her boyfriend looked like King Charles the first. as she got older tho she started to look more and more like a daemon, her body was shriveling up and had gone browny/reddy and suddenly she developed a hole in her head and the two sides split into two different heads which had all the flesh dry and shriveled and very small, i was very distressed about this and switched over to find wallace and gromit was on another channel

i woke up again and generally thought that Glum was a message from God to say that i had been evil and i was going to hell, well my mind was going haywire at this point so i found an old CUBE mag and started to read it to try and get Glum out of my head.

Later i went to sleep again, i dreamed that i was in a sealed room, the rest of the building was about to explode and me and Dr Von Goosewing (Character from a 90's tv show called Count Duckular) were trying to round up pairs of the same colored chickens before it did so, then suddenly Goosewing ran out, he had forgotten something so i checked a chest of draws (i didn't even kno what i was looking for) and then i realized that the door was open and the chickens had escaped, i swore loudly and told an elderly turtle with a walking stick that it better not laugh at me

i think there was some more to the last part but i cant remember it

so has anyone els had any random dreams? ill post up others as and when i have them, and of course only the bits i can remember :p

Those were some pretty weird dreams. But then again, most dreams are really weird. They are normally nothing like what movies try to make them out to be. Have you actually ever climbed Ben Nevis? (For those who may be wondering, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK.)
I have dreams almost every time I sleep. Some I remember, some I don't.
The most vivid dream I can recall is one that I had shortly after one of my best friends died in a car wreck. I was in the 10th grade when it happened and had just recently moved back to Mississippi from Arkansas, which is where he lived. In my dream he and I were running through the halls of some kind of building. We were just running around, having fun as usual. Suddenly I stopped and looked at him. I had this overwhelming feeling of grief come over me. I said to him, "Wait a minute. This can't be happening. You're dead!" Then he looked at me and started crying and said, "I just wanted to see you one last time because I never got a chance to say goodbye." Then he vanished.
That was one of the most realistic dreams I have ever had, and to this day it still chokes me up when I think about it. He was by far the best friend I have ever had.

Yea i have climbed it, and it looked a lot didn't then than it did in my dreams

it seems that whoever loses someone always dreams of them, on a similar topic to this elsewhere someone who had lost a friend in 911 had a recurring dream where they were watering plants together in her apartment

very spooky and sad

The other night i dreamt that i had kissed my male roommate, twice in one night. I had a serious WTF moment when i woke up, considering that i have absolutely no romantic feelings or physical urges when it comes to him. However, the bf is a live wire, and telling him about it was probably a bad idea. I tried telling him that it means nothing, most dreams are completely random. But i dont think im getting the point across..

Any idea how i can convince him that i do NOT wanna screw our roommate?

Weird. My best friend died when I was in grade ten (cancer, not a car wreck, though). I had dreams about her, but they were never goodbye dreams or anything. Mostly I would dream that I was in her bedroom, and her dad kept telling me to stay off the sheets, because I'd muss them up and he'd forget her.

I've been dreaming about my childhood lately, probably because I'm writing about it. The other night I dreamt that I was a little kid and I was playing hide-and-go-seek with my sister. The house was the same one we had in Ottawa, but outside it was Norway in the spring. I was hiding in the brush, and making clicking noises to tease my sister that she couldn't find me. Then, inexplicably, I knew it wasn't my sister looking for me anymore, but my mother. I started running towards the house so that my dad could protect me, but my mom caught me around the middle when I started to bolt. She carried me away from the house and then laid me in the snow and told me that I had to lay very still, no matter how cold I got, because the cold would drive the devil away. I kept thinking that if my teeth chattered loud enough, it would scare him away. Eventually my dad came outside and got me, and he took me inside. The inside was the house in Norway now, and he sat me on his lap by the fire, and I felt really wicked, because I was warmed up and that would bring the devil back. There was more, I just don't remember.

Deep sleep, REM is when you have vivid dreams. The reason most people dont remeber them is that when you are in REM sleep mode it will be hours before you wake up so that if you had a dream that was very vivid you might have forgotten about it or have gone on to dream about something else. Most people will remember what they are dreaming about if they are in a deep sleep and are woken up gently.
Think about this. Have you ever been asleep and have been thinking or "Dreaming" about something only to find out that you have been woken up to the TV that was left on or a disturbance from somewhere, like a Dog or a siren. or someone talking and you were dreaming about that person place or event. This happens when you are coming out of rem and about ready to wake up.
