One option might be to do as the voters want you to do. Another might be to simply only meet with those you already know agree with you.

Which do you think today's politician chooses?

The reception that Representative Frank Kratovil Jr., a Democrat, received here one night last week as he faced a small group of constituents was far more pleasant than his encounters during a Congressional recess last summer.

Then, he was hanged in effigy by protesters. This time, a round of applause was followed by a glass of chilled wine, a plate of crackers and crudités as he mingled with an invitation-only audience at the Point Breeze Credit Union, a vastly different scene than last year’s wide-open televised free-for-alls.

hehehehehehehehehe..... I saw that the other day...............

I'm very curious about what these next elections will bring. Perhaps people have indeed finally had enough? Time will tell....

We need politicians who work for us first, second & third. No other nation or corporation.

I'm not holding my breath tho. That would be too optimistic.

Yup. We need to figure out how to create a for-profit corporation that polls a district's political desires, then funds a PAC to generously "lobby" (wink wink, nudge nudge) that congressman to vote that way.

Sad isn't it? I've long-thought that would be a good way to play 'within' the corrupted system..... Good to know I'm not alone in that thought:24:

If everyone took the time to research just whom our politicians take money from we'd go a long way in seeing just where their loyalties are.

I'm getting tired of other nations and corporations having more pull than we do... We can look around at our crumbling infrastructure, economy and everything else and see the results.

When we have Veterans sleeping in our streets do we really have billions to send to other nations every year?

MeThinks it's time to leave politics for the day before it disturbs my calm any further :D I have to remember that all I'm doing is :horse:horse:horse:horse
