In today’s fast-paced and diverse world, religion’s influence seems to be fading. Are moral values possible without religious grounding, or does faith still play a vital role in shaping right and wrong?

I have doubts about this because a lot of people just focus on living a different life that doesn't synchronise with what they were taught in their place of worship. This is the sad realty of what we see everyday.

I believe religion still guide morality. Why does someone do good, well because of the fear of God. Why people are afraid of committing wrongs, that's because they fear God.

Religion can still guide morality, but its influence varies widely. Many people draw ethical principles from faith, while others rely on secular or personal values. In modern life, religion often complements societal laws and cultural norms rather than being the sole moral compass, offering guidance, community support, and a framework for meaning.

In my place, religion still is the standard pace setter for morality. There are certain things that people in my country would never do because of their religions. Or at least do it publicly. We still hold people morally accountable by virtue of their religious inclination.

For a lot of people, religion is what makes them moral. For example, in our place there is a community that donates 10 percent of income. They do it because their religious belief ask them to do it. And every one ion that community donates. This wouldn't have been possible if they were not guided by religion.

Well, Religion and spirituality have not disappeared in our modern society. We still hold on to religious traditions, and new forms of religion and spirituality are emerging. People in our modern society still have a great need for morality
