Many report mental sharpness and emotional stability after fasting. Could the temporary emptiness created by fasting actually reset both the body’s chemistry and the spirit’s energy?

I think fasting is good for physical, mental and emotional health. I sometimes fast and I have experienced the benefit of fasting.

I am a Muslim who follows Islam. I fast in the month of Ramadan. Research and studies have proved that fasting has a very beneficial effect on mitochondria and telemeres. This can help cure diseases and also reverse ageing process as well.

I think fasting can reset more than just metabolism. It may improve insulin sensitivity, reduce inflammation, and promote cellular repair through autophagy. Many also report mental clarity and emotional balance. However, results vary, and fasting should be practiced carefully to avoid fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, or disordered eating patterns.

I believe that Intermittent fasting may provide a way to reset our metabolism to lose weight. This is because when you fast for at least 12 hours, your body switches from using glucose as its main fuel source, to fat
